The Obama of Skateboarding, Darren Harper has been a mainstay in Washington DC skate culture for decades. This was back when it wasn't fashionable to be on a board, only the real kept it moving. DStreets honed his skills at Freedom Plaza in downtown DC which eventually resulted in sponsorships by several top tier brands including DGK.
Years past, Darren kept his skills up and eventually started passing down his skate wisdom to his daughters, Tink & Demi. Now the Harpers are a unit that has captivated the world, with videos of them learning in real time keep their fanbase entertained weekly. With DGK & Darren's long history only felt right to establish the first ever pro model for The Harpers. DGK is proud to play a role in their journey to the top.
